Donna Roy
$575.00

Artist statement: My current work explores expressionistic color and energetic mark making. I’m inspired by ordinary landscapes and strive to render them with un-ordinary colors and values, those that I see lurking in the underlayers. By intensifying these layers, I hope to give the viewer a peek into my world, one that is expressed in bold, exuberant, and chaotic movement in an extroverted painting. I hope to impact how they see the ordinary world around them.
Specific medium: Soft Pastel

Irena Russell
$150.00

Artist statement: My artwork has gone through many changes throughout the years. From copying book illustrations while in grammar school to creating floral, landscapes and abstract paintings more recently. Art therapy is important to me and I believe it is important for our culture as well. After teaching art in schools and museums, I never doubt the value of art in our society. Art has brought me challenges and joys and like chocolate, I continue to love it. Irena Russell

$250.00

Artist statement: When in elementary school, my first show and tell was drawings I did from a children's book. I received applause for the first time in my life. It was so exciting. Had to wait many years and into adulthood to continue my art journey. But after going back to school, I taught art in museums and public schools. Art therapy continues to be an important part of my path and, I believe, important to our culture. Creating always brings me joy and just like chocolate, I love it!

Kenneth Salome
$400.00

Artist statement: From an eight-year-old with an “open me first” Kodak Instamatic to a retired engineer with a DSLR camera, photography has been the single, creative outlet in an otherwise industrious career. That time-consuming career and life’s demands limited, and in some instances, suspended time devoted to my passion. Free of employment strains, I have re-immersed myself into that long lived, creative outlet. I am primarily self-taught through experimentation, books, and workshops.

Mari Saxon
$195.00

Artist statement: I create portraits that carry multiple meanings - for myself, the model, and the viewers - where each interprets them in their own way. I love when my works have many layers, and some see only the surface, while others can delve deeper inside. It delights me when a model shares their interpretation of the portraits, revealing some new meaning that I hadn't seen.

Simone Scholes
$450.00

Artist statement: Simone’s loosely rendered paintings are figure studies with an evident emphasis on capturing how light reflects off the subject. Whilst the subjects have the necessity of detail to their faces to capture a true likeness, the remainder holds looser brush strokes capturing just the essentials details. She believes you shouldn’t need to know the person to be captivated by it. It should strike a familiar chord. It should convey an aspect of the human condition that we all recognize.
