$100.00

Artist statement: I've often noticed this marshy spot while driving on Route 70 in Boylston, MA and always wanted to pull over to take pictures. One day, while driving with my girlfriend, she pulled over at the perfect moment to capture the light and beauty of the area. In this image, I'm hoping to capture the mirroring of the trees in the water and the symmetry of it all with the tree stump as a focal point. I hope you enjoy.

Artist statement: While driving through Upton, MA and over the railroad tracks, I noticed this scene. I stopped to capture the trees, the tracks and the sky above. As an onlooker, I hope you'll wonder where the tracks could lead you on this fine autumn day in New England. Enjoy!

Ever since digital became the new way of photography, I still love and use B & W as my main medium; however since I have been falling in love with Color photography. I have a new different passion of creating color photos with subjects that just draw you in and make you think, which was my intent in this image. Enjoy.

Doris O'Keefe
$125.00

Artist statement: Photography is all about the light, and the best camera is the one you have with you. When I walked into the ladies' room at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge on Plum Island, I was wowed by the afternoon sunlight illuminating the rolls of toilet paper lined up on the windowsill. With my camera packed away in the trunk of my car, I was very happy that my iPhone was in my pocket.

Roberta Oakley

Selected for Exhibition
Artist statement: Portrait of Liza at about age ten. She was sitting in her backyard and posed so perfectly for a portrait. I snapped a photo, and that photo is my inspiration for this painting. (She is now an adult.) I prefer "the portrait" to other types of paintings and think it is still a relevant form of expression in a world of mechanization and speed.
Specific medium: oil on canvas

Artist statement: This shot was my favorite out of the ten piece series it came from. This piece explores what being framed within your mind could look like. I intentionally wanted to distort the traditional use of a mirror as a reflection of inner sadness or something similar. I wanted to flip that narrative, and I found a deeper frame that I wasn't expecting. I enjoy the darkness of the piece, its darker than any work I had created before and I think it was a an amazing challenge.
